Job Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing programs and applications to support Manufacturing applications. Respond to Operations and supply chain needs and provide innovative solutions to common manufacturing problems and challenges.

• You can design and code computer programs in high-level languages with a high degree of reliability, efficiency and maintainability.
• You can develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
• You can determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• You can develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• You can document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• You can prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• You can improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• You can obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree, preferred in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency .Net, and object-oriented design skills
• Proficiency with front end web development. Angular experience is an advantage.
• Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, rom conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
• Experience with the Unix and VMS Operating System and shell scripting is an advantage.
• Experience with Manufacturing Executive Systems as system administrator or system implementation and support.
