Job Description

Tower Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated Process R&D Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will:

Develop new processes and solutions for future Tower products and technologies

Solve complex technological challenges and deliver solutions that meet product requirements and manufacturing needs

Characterize, experiment with, and analyze advanced semiconductor processes

Take part in an exciting, interesting, and challenging working environment

Collaborate within creative, dynamic teams in our R&D department

Job Requirements

Must Have:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics is required.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across multiple interfaces

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong data analysis skills (DOE, JMP, SPC) for yield and process modeling

Nice to Have:

• Ph.D. in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering is an advantage

• Experience with dry etch processes is a significant advantage.

• Experience in process engineering is an advantage
