Job Description
As a member of the Equipment Engineering Service team at Tower Semiconductor in Newport Beach, CA, you will be responsible for the shipping, receiving, installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of Wet Etch tools and support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical servicing of semiconductor Wet Etch tools and support equipment
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance on semiconductor Wet Etch tools and support equipment
- Monitor spare parts inventory levels for related tool sets and provide recommendations as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of test equipment, including test meters, hand tools, and power tools
- Maintain excellent customer interfacing and communication skills
- Adhere to all maintenance and safety procedures
- Take on a leadership role, setting a high standard of ownership within the group
- Participate in training on semiconductor production equipment
- Operate with minimal management supervision when performing daily routines once fully trained

- Collaborate with Vendors, Production, Process, Facility teams, and Engineers to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot down tools and support equipment
- Offer technical guidance and support to junior-level technicians as needed
- Operate with no direct management responsibilities
- Work within a fab and sub-fab clean-room environment
- Apply working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance
- Demonstrate proficiency with hand tools and multimeters
Job Requirements
Must Have:
- AS degree in Electrical or Mechanical (Military or Trade School with an emphasis in electronics/mechanical equivalent may substitute for AS degree)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with equipment in the semiconductor industry
- Hands-on experience with the following toolsets: Akrion Rear Mount and GAMA, SCREEN DNS SU-2000 and FC-821L, SEZ 223 and 4200, FSI Mercury, LAM Sabre NeXT.

- Compensation: $30.00/hr - $42.00/hr
