Job Description

Advanced Packaging Engineer, Israel

This role is responsible for driving process development, establishing new tools, and defining procedures, while working closely with vendors on new developments and process optimization. The position requires close interfacing with Fab departments to ensure production-worthy processes, as well as collaboration with teams across other Tower sites.

The Advanced Packaging Engineer will work closely with both external and internal customers, managing multiple interfaces and setting priorities effectively. A strong knowledge of industry benchmarks is essential, along with the ability to evaluate new opportunities and lead the technological aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI).

Job Requirements

Must Have:

• Innovative thinking

• Readiness to work in intensive multi-interface environment

• Vendor management and new tool qualification experience

• Strong problem-solving skills applied to cost and yield optimization for specialty foundry products

• Engineering degree (Chemical/Materials) or Physics degree

• 2+ years of experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role

Nice to Have:

• experience in W2W or D2W bonding significant advantage

• Advanced degree
