Job Description

Are you passionate about semiconductor physics, advanced characterization techniques, and laboratory work?

Tower Semiconductor is looking for a highly motivated Device Lab Engineer to join our Device R&D team. In this role, you will take ownership of advanced electrical characterization activities, operate sophisticated measurement systems, and support the development and qualification of leading semiconductor technologies.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Device R&D, Process R&D and Fab engineers, providing critical electrical characterization data that drives technology development, process optimization, root-cause investigations, and product qualification.

This position combines hands-on laboratory work with analytical problem solving and is ideal for engineers who thrive in an environment that requires both technical expertise and a high degree of independence.

Job Requirements

Must Have:

  • Practical Electrical Engineering certification with proven relevant experience, or B.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and characterization of CMOS & Power technologies
  • Proven hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment, such as parameter analyzers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, etc..
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with engineering teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Programming skills in LabView and Python
