Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll accounting activities, payroll-related employee support, and general accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts

• Process invoices and maintain vendor records

• Execute domestic and international payments

• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities

• Prepare reports for tax authorities

• Respond to employee payroll inquiries

• Perform intercompany payroll allocations and departmental chargebacks

• Manage employee attendance records using the Hilan system

This Job Is For You If:

You are an experienced Payroll Accountant with at least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience and strong knowledge of payroll regulations and labor laws. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and strict deadlines.

You have proven experience working with the Hilan payroll system and can manage payroll processes accurately and efficiently from start to finish. You take pride in delivering precise work, maintaining confidentiality, and providing excellent service to employees and internal stakeholders.

We are looking for a proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with others while taking ownership of their responsibilities. Job Requirements

Must Have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll accounting within a company of 200+ employees.
  • Previous payroll experience.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, including complex journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and service orientation.
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working with the Hilan payroll and attendance system
  • Experience with SAP
