Job Description
Main responsibilities are performing preventative maintenance and assist with repair and project activity on Diffusion area semiconductor assemblies and equipment. Interfaces with Equipment Engineers and area Manager/Group Leader to identify and assist in resolving equipment and process-related issues which support production. Participate in the activities assigned to them by the area engineers or managers, and work on set priorities based on production requirements.
This job is for you if
- You can perform Preventative Maintenance tasks, and rebuilding assemblies.
- You can assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems. Perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
- You can participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems, working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
- You can interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolving equipment specific issues.
- You can be in direct communication with Production Operation Team regarding tool downtime needs.
- You can monitor Repair Parts inventory for the entire Equipment Department and escalate when insufficient inventory is identified.
- You have the ability to interface with repair/refurbish suppliers for RMA/Cost information and self-manage sending out of parts for repair.
- You can work with each group to identify any repair parts needing repair/refurbishment.
- You have the ability to use SAP to generate PRs (Purchase Requisition) for the entire Equipment Department.
- You have the ability to generate a report for the return parts which occurred during the previous week and send them to the Area Equipment Managers and Equipment Director.
- You can learn maintenance activities for Diffusion area toolsets.
Job Requirements
- One to two years of technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal assistance.
- Basic knowledge is required of electronic theory, vacuum and pneumatics, principles of electrical circuits.
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
- Associate of Science degree or Bachelors of Science degree in progress with an emphasis in at least one of Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering disciplines or equivalent.
Compensation: $17.98 - $21.15
