Job Description

Work with a team and manage your assigned commodity in the area of Capital Procurement (Tools, Services, and Spare Parts) to enable the company’s profitable growth. Close work and coordination with external vendors and internal stakeholders.  Plan and execute near term and long term global Capital purchases to efficiently increase the company’s profit margin.
Integrate forecast with sales, marketing, operations and finance to define company Capital tool requirements. Develop Capital tool strategies that support monthly, quarterly and long term procurement plan to beat the company’s cash margin.  Apply experience and knowledge in fab manufacturing and equipment, supply chain, and operational excellence, to rationalize and benchmark all sourcing spends on a continuous basis.
Responsible for continuous improvement of the procurement process and best in-class spend rate. The job requires interaction with a wide range of interfaces inside & outside the organization, good communication skills, strong technical foundation, curiosity and self-learning ability.

This job is for you if

•    You have direct experience with Capital Equipment
•    You have a good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and process flows  
•    You have a good understanding of semiconductor equipment suppliers 
•    You have a proven track record of success in the semiconductor space
•    Ability to create, source, strategize, and negotiate the best possible terms/outcomes
•    Ability to negotiate both with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements


•     Strong technical equipment background – a must
•     Good written and verbal communication skills (including English) – a must
•     Knowledge in Semiconductor Physics – advantage
•     Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics – advantage
•     Previous knowledge or experience in negotiations, semiconductor suppliers, supply chain, contracting, and working in a cross-functional work environment. - Advantage
