Job Description
- Performing preventative maintenance, repair and improvement to semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems
- This job includes multidisciplinary aspects – electrical, electronics, mechanics and pneumatics
- This position will interface with Equipment Engineers and area Managers, Procurement Department and Operations to identify and resolve equipment issues supporting production
- Provides an opportunity to take part on interesting and challenging projects: improve reliability, cost savings and safety
- This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of the tool sets found in the Wet Etch area.
- Wet area tool set includes Akrion, FSI, SEZ, chemical distribution systems and support equipment.
- Play a substantial part in the growth of Equipment Engineering and staff.

Job Requirements
- Degree or equivalent is preferred with at least 5 year of Wet Etch equipment.
- Understanding of cleanroom environments and support sources to include exhaust, water, house gases and HVAC.
- Preferably previous Equipment Engineer experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, which includes verbal and written.
- Must be proficient in MS office products and various OS platforms.
- Must understand the concept of consumable and non-consumable parts costs associated with the job and look for ways to reduce costs without affecting tool or product performance.
- Must have an advanced knowledge of SPC and know how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment.
- MILITARY EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRONICS, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL, NUCLEAR OR SIMILIAR FIELD WILL SUFFICE THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS.
