Job Description

Sustain, improve, and develop wet etch processes in a volume manufacturing facility.  Partner with Operations, Equipment Engineering Support, Integration, and R&D to deliver products on time to customer specification.  

Interface with global counterparts to benchmark and improve wet etch processes and procedures company-wide.  Create and/or modify operations specifications.

• You can monitor and control wet etch processes, troubleshooting yield problems, developing process enhancements, and implementing new processes to address quality and bottleneck situations.
• You can suggest work methods work methods in new tasks and in tasks that he/she leads. 
• You can install and qualify new tools and process technologies.
• You can support process and technology transfers.
• You can participate in troubleshooting taskforces as needed and helping develop solutions that prevent recurrence.
• You can lead task teams and small to medium projects.
• You can support Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technologies meet all qualification and reliability requirements.
• You can use lean manufacturing and six sigma processes.

 

Job Requirements

• Either B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required.
• Minimum 6 years wet etch process engineering experience with B.S. Degree or 4 years of experience with advanced degree. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of wet etch principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise with Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and/or Semitool wet etch tools and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to use knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of difficult problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead task teams and small to medium projects.
• Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
• Experience with design of experiment techniques and data analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and self starter
• Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a global team or environment
• Six sigma certification
• Knowledge of PROMIS wip management software and JMP Statistical analysis software.
