Job Description

Foundry FAE or DSE takes the ownership to co-work closely with Tower Semi Analog Business Unit (including SiGe, RFSOI, CMOS and BCD) to define and select segment high-performance analog markets and product applications (optical communication, RF & mmWave, Analog CMOS and Power management) to penetrate, engage the target leading customers with Tower Semi state-of-the-art Analog technology offerings, and close the design win with tactical technical strategy and also maintain long-term relationship with key potential customers. Achieving the yearly Sales revenue target and overall Analog business growth in China with deep understanding of China Analogy ecosystem, main fabless players and mainstream product/market trends.

This job is for you if

  • Remain as primary technical focal for customer’s process/PDK (Process Design Kit) evaluation, design-in and prototype tape-out stages, and drive design wins into production.
  • Solve technical issues throughout customer’s prototype design stage either by himself/herself or via support from internal teams, to ensure a successful prototype tape-out and 1st time right silicon results.

 

Job Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineer, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, Semiconductor Physics or Material related majors.
  • 5+ years of industry working experience in semiconductor related fields like foundry FAE, technical support or marketing in foundry, circuit and layout design, semiconductor process/PDK development or common EDA tools development/application etc.
  • Successful candidate needs to have strong interpersonal skills (communication, negotiation, problem solving etc) and a proven ability to adjust to achieve results quickly in fast-moving environment, being self-motivated and self-directed, and the ability to work with diverse internal and external teams at multiple worldwide locations.
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more below semiconductor fields:
  • Good knowledge in Analog process/technology (SiGe BiCMOS, RFSOI, RFCMOS, BCD etc). Analog product applications, segment markets, and main players with relevant strengths, is a strong plus.
  • Analog/RF custom circuit, and/or digital/Mixed-signal circuit design and methodology;
  • Mainstream circuit design flow and EDA tools for simulation, DRC/LVS, PEX and post-layout simulation. Linux/CAD tool application knowledge.
  • Fluent written and oral English.

Compensation:

Base $140,000 - $300,000 DOE
