Job Description

Working in a world class Facilities organization with talented group of Engineers, Technicians, and technical supportive management. An organization that focuses on growth, talent development, and continuous improvement. Main responsibilities are to perform electronic and minor electrical services for facilities monitoring and facilities support control systems. Trouble shooting repair, calibration of all facilities assets and support equipment.  Perform calibration, review spare parts inventory requirements.

 

 

This job is for you if

  • Perform general repairs on facility equipment such as control and instrumentation
  • Maintain and repair toxic gas monitoring and alarming equipment.
  • Basic troubleshoot and repair fire control loop monitoring and alarming loops.
  • Perform calibration on facility assets as needed
  • Basic troubleshoot and repair building security hardware, including cameras and doors
  • Perform basic diagnostic trouble shooting and repair on facilities electronic sensing equipment, analog and digital.
  • Review and maintain a critical spare parts inventory for facilities assets
  • Assist in electronic equipment selection for new and retrofitted facility projects.
  • Operate, maintain, and assist as required to modify facilities computer, related software systems, and PLC’s.
  • Perform work according to manufacturer's blueprints, schematics, specifications, and procedures.
  • Document failures in Facility Maintenance System and make recommendation for improvement
  • Follow company safety, procedures, and health regulations. Stay up to date on maintenance procedures and documentation

 

Working Environment

Assignment Complexity

  • Work assignments are somewhat repetitive to moderate in nature; solve low complexity problems and assist other technicians with a variety of tasks. Participate in problem solving teams.

 

Accountability/Discretion

  • Works under general supervision considerable freedom for independent action.  Makes decisions that impact production, support areas, operations and offices. Assignment Complexity. Work assignments are somewhat repetitive to moderate in nature; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Participate in problem solving teams.

 

Working Relationships

  • Communicates/works closely with internal customers/outside contractors. Interface with other groups such as Equipment and Production

 

Supervision

  • No management responsibilities. Communicate with senior technicians and management for directions and escalate as needed

 

Working Conditions

  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials and noisy environment. Required to lift Max of 50 lbs load. For load higher than 50 pounds, help from other technicians and follow safety procedures will be required. Works in a fab clean-room environment

 

 

 

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Two or more year of experience in facility electronic equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Have good knowledge of facilities related equipment, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumping systems, etc.
  • Working knowledge of basic AC/DC circuits, logic digital circuits, test procedures and ability to trouble shoot.
  • Refrigeration knowledge is a plus.
  • Completion of a two-year course in electronics or equivalent experience.
