Job Description

Help execute wafer processing on advanced, next generation technology prototype development.  Evaluate, execute and monitor wafer fabrication in high volume factory.  Investigate tool related process, yield and rework issues. Work very closely to assist engineers – both Ops and R&D -- in the evaluation and implementation of process and equipment changes.  Work on assignments that are moderately complex in nature, where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations.  This position is for a B2 schedule but other options could be considered for the right candidate.

This Job Is For You If

•    You can perforn an R&D Technician, execute recipe creation, engineering splits, measurement/metrology, and specialty processing for new process and devices development.
•    You can adhere to procedures and expectations as documented in Intelex
•   You can disposition lots that are out of specification limits and recommend changes to resolve routine problems.
•    You can recover wafers from tool aborts across all equipment types in Etch and Wet Etch
•    You can process test runs and conduct test for engineering to identify yield problems or test new processes.
•    You can carry out detailed written or oral instructions by engineering.
•    You can perform in-process control measurements and maintain records.
•    You can create metrology recipes to measure thickness and critical dimensions.
•    You can assist in training and qualifying production personnel
•    You can conduct pre-production operations and prepare detailed record of procedures and results.
•    You can conduct processing experiments on devices to prove or improve engineering design. 
•    You can conduct tests on devices/wafers by applying advanced techniques and criteria to obtain data required for process studies.


Job Requirements

    One or more years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry. A working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
•    Some knowledge of semiconductor wafer processing.
•    Some knowledge of SPC, failure analysis, and various software monitoring tools.
