Job Description

Main responsibilities are performing preventative maintenance and repair on semiconductor equipment.  Interfaces with Equipment Engineers and area Manager/Group Leader to identify and resolve equipment and process-related issues supporting production. Participate in the activities of the area shift pass-downs, and work on set priorities based on production requirements.

This Job Is For You If

You have experience performing Preventative Maintenance tasks, and rebuilding assemblies
You can assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems.  Perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
You can participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems; working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
You can Interface with Senior Technicians and Engineers to support resolving equipment specific issues.
You can perform diagnostic trouble shooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment
You are able to recommend equipment improvement and interface with engineering as required.
You can perform routine maintenance on Hivac area systems
You have the ability to re-build assemblies in the WET and CMP areas of the fab including Wetbench and Bulk Chemical Supply Pump assemblies, CMP Heads and Carriers.
You can participate in ERT/Safety events

Job Requirements

A minimum of two to three years of technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment with strong mechanical and electrical skills. Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal assistance. Adequate knowledge is required of electronic theory, vacuum and pneumatics, principles of electrical circuits, motor control systems and test procedures. Strong preference is given for semiconductor experience working on AMAT Mirra Mesa CMP Polisher, Speedfam Auriga CMP Polisher, Ontrak Scrubber, Akrion Rearmount Wetbench, FSI Mercury, SEZ223 and 4200 toolsets, and LAM Sabre Copper Plating Systems.


Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or equivalent.

NIGHT SHIFT SCHEDULE 5:30 pm to 5:30 am.  Training on day shift.
